Day 11 - I feel nothing, but EXCITEMENT!

Wow, I can’t help but think how great this year is going to be. I am so incredibly excited for this project to take off and even more stoked about what 500 days to fame can turn out to be.

This coming weekend (in my eyes) will truly be the start of this project as we will be meeting with the photographer who has agreed to help us out as well as the makeup artist we were able to find on such short notice. I am glad we have decided to record the entire shoot as we will be able to share with you the beautiful art of photography and everything else that goes along with it.

Rick has recently showed me a list of possible guests for the talk show. It is absolutely CRAZY that many people have already sent Rick emails stating who they are, what they do and why they should be part of the show. I am even MORE excited now to know that there are plenty of peeps out there who are willing to take part. It seems like there is such a diversity of people too (not just singers, promoters, dancers). We are still in the process of naming the talk show. “Dreamstreet” is a possibility, but we are aware that there is a boy band out there with the same name. However, “Dreamstreet” does sound appropriate for the show. Apologies go out to everyone, but we just want to make it unique and edgy sounding. We want to make it good and interesting for YOU.

Besides all of the excitement involved with 500 days to fame, I have just fulfilled my quest to find a part time job and I am now a hostess (in training). I have been looking for a new environment to work in and I always look forward to meeting and working with new people. So I feel this job will be great! As a communications student, I was seeking for more interaction between other people and I; working in a restaurant shall not fail me. I am definitely looking forward to it. Although I am searching for “fame,” I must also be reminded of the real world and keep a good head on my shoulders and remain a hard worker and dedicated being with everything else happening in my life (such as school, family, friends, work, etc).

On this note, I encourage everyone to keep in mind that life shall not be treated as an everlasting deal. I say, go after your dreams, work hard at what you love, make new friends, get in touch with old ones and basically, just make the most of what you have. Life is too short to not take any risks. You never know what those risks can turn out to be in the end. =)

Much Love,
Marica

PS - Be on the lookout for our next video blog, which will be filmed this weekend. =)

Not sure if I could have picked a better person to work with.

Hmm. I admit, I originally came here because of the Canucks tickets, but now that I’m reading this, it is very interesting. I like your formula, and it’s interesting to see how you’ve mapped this out. Good luck
